Effective Date: April 6, 2026

1. Introduction

At Adswaalaah, your privacy is a priority. We are committed to protecting the Personal Data you share with us. This Privacy Policy is formulated in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India.

This document explains in detail what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is processed, and the robust mechanisms we employ to keep it secure. By accessing our platform, you explicitly consent to the data practices described herein.

2. Information We Collect

To provide a seamless and verified earning ecosystem, we collect necessary data points at various stages of your interaction with the Platform:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Full name, email address, and active mobile/WhatsApp number.
  • Authentication Data: Profile photo and authentication tokens (typically retrieved securely via Google Login/Firebase Auth).
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, device types, operating systems, and browser information.
  • Demographic Data: Approximate location data (State and District) and user-declared interests to match relevant advertising campaigns.
  • Social & Proof Data: Social media handles/links and visual proof (screenshots or screen recordings) uploaded to verify task completion.
  • Financial Data: UPI IDs, bank account details, or mobile wallet numbers strictly required for processing your withdrawal requests.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We operate on the principle of data minimization, meaning we only process data that is essential for our operations. Your data is used for:

  • Account Management: Creating and maintaining your user profile securely.
  • Financial Settlements: Executing payouts and maintaining a legally compliant ledger of transactions.
  • Fraud Prevention: Analyzing IP logs, device IDs, and submitted screenshots to prevent system abuse and ensure advertiser trust.
  • Targeted Advertising: Using location and interest data to display the most relevant ad tasks to you, thereby increasing campaign effectiveness.
  • Service Communication: Sending critical updates regarding task approvals, payment statuses, and platform changes.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Core Guarantee: Adswaalaah does NOT and will NOT sell your personal identifying data to third-party data brokers.

However, to operate our platform effectively, we utilize industry-leading third-party services. We may share necessary data segments with:

  • Infrastructure Providers: Firebase (for database and authentication) and Cloudinary (for secure media and screenshot storage).
  • Analytics & Support: Google Analytics (to understand user behavior) and Tawk.to (for live customer support integration).
  • Financial Partners: RBI-compliant Payment Gateways to process your UPI/Bank transfers securely.
  • Advertising Clients: Aggregated, anonymized performance reports (e.g., "500 users in Kerala viewed this ad"). We do not share your direct contact info with advertisers unless explicitly required by a specific campaign, for which separate consent will be requested.
  • Legal Authorities: We will disclose data to law enforcement agencies or courts in India if required to comply with a subpoena, legal directive, or cyber-crime investigation.

5. Data Security Protocols

We implement reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security measures designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. Data transmissions (like passwords and financial info) are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.

Note: Despite our stringent protocols, no system connected to the internet is unequivocally 100% secure. Users provide data at their own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal and financial information only for as long as your account is active, or as required to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Certain transactional data, communication logs, and basic identifiers may be retained for an extended period (typically up to 5-8 years) to comply with Indian taxation, auditing, and anti-money laundering (AML) legal obligations.

7. User Rights & Data Control

Under Indian Data Protection frameworks, you possess specific rights concerning your digital footprint:

  • Right to Update: You may edit your profile details directly from the dashboard at any time.
  • Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the permanent deletion of your account and associated non-transactional data by contacting support.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out of promotional emails, though mandatory transactional emails (like password resets or payment receipts) cannot be opted out of.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our web application utilizes "Cookies" (small text files stored on your device) and similar tracking technologies to maintain user sessions, remember preferences, and analyze traffic patterns. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies; however, doing so may render certain critical features of the Adswaalaah platform unusable.
